Bill and Dorothy Fry came to Alaska in 1976. They are the proud parents of two grown daughters Jasmine and Nikki. Bill owned and ran a drilling business in the Homer area of the Kenai Peninsula for over eighteen years. For the past fourteen years he has been working on Alaska's north slope oil fields, currently in a management position. Bill wrote the "Witcher" for his mother Ruth, who is an avid reader of fiction thrillers. After this labor of love, he was happy to tell his mom "I know you haven't read this one". Below are some pictures of Bill, his wife Dorothy, and one hell of a tough way to make a living. Besides working and writing, bill enjoys crafting wine in his own winery, and taking in the beautiful mountain views from his hot tub |
